Put these tools on your website
Every tool on this site is embedded from KarbonKit, the same way a council, installer or community energy group puts it on theirs. They are free.
What it takes
A KarbonKit account, which is free. For each tool you choose its settings in the dashboard, such as your colour and your organisation's name, and copy two lines of HTML. The settings are saved against a config ID, so you can change them later without touching your page.

<div data-karbonkit data-config-id="YOUR_CONFIG_ID"></div>Paste it where the tool should appear. It works in plain HTML, WordPress, and any site builder that lets you add HTML. The tool sizes itself to its content.
Get a config ID from the KarbonKit dashboard. The integration guide has every setting, a plain iframe version, and examples for React, Next.js and WordPress.

Savings calculator
Sizes a heat pump, solar panels and a battery for a visitor's home and estimates cost, savings and carbon at current prices. It can collect enquiries and send them to your inbox, which is off until you switch it on. See it here.
Grant finder
A postcode and four questions show which UK schemes a household might get, each checked against its official page. It can link visitors to their own council, and list local schemes you add. See it here.
Boiler escape plan
What waiting for a working boiler to fail costs in carbon, and a plan for switching before it does, with calendar reminders. It can also collect enquiries. See it here.
Installer finder
Installers near a postcode, each with a link to the MCS register. You can put your own list of installers first, or show only yours. See it here.
Heat pump visualiser
A true-size heat pump or hot water cylinder through a phone's camera, with a 3D model on a computer. See it here.
Sound simulator
A real heat pump recording and a sound meter that uses the phone's microphone. If you use the plain iframe, its allow attribute must include the microphone. See it here.
3D house tour
A cutaway house with every part of a heat pump system, solar panels and a battery, and a guided tour. It needs nothing from the visitor. See it here.

The site's content security policy is strict: it allows scripts and frames from widgets.karbonkit.com and nothing else from outside. If the tools work here, they will work behind a similar policy on your site.
The sound simulator page uses the plain iframe instead of the script tag, so both ways of embedding are in use here.
Visitors' data
The tools set no cookies. What a visitor types, such as a postcode, goes to KarbonKit to work out the answer. If you switch on enquiry collection, the visitor's details go to you, and your own privacy notice needs to say so. KarbonKit's privacy page has the details.
